Has someone on your campus had an exceptional impact on your residential life community? The Recognition & Awards Committee highlights individuals working behind the scenes to make your university a better place. Every campus has a person who goes beyond their job requirements, and we want to make sure their hard work does not go unnoticed. This is a new recognition venture for 2017 – 2018.

 

Nominations are due the following days: September 1, October 28, January 5 and March 1.

 

We hope to feature an individual from every state in our region so go ahead and start sending us your submissions today! 

 

Submission Guidelines

SWACUHO Spotlight recognizes individuals who:

• Impact a large segment of your institutions residential life community.

• Furthers the university’s mission and goals.

• Fosters a sense of connection and community among employees.

• Word count: 500 maximum

 

Throughout the year, nominees will be highlighted in each newsletter publication and will have an opportunity to receive recognition at the annual conference. SWACUHO members are encouraged to submit stories and ideas to the Recognition & Awards Committee. Preference will be given to submissions that meet the criteria listed above. Not all stories will be published, and submissions may be edited.
